Tom Hyde
President/General Manager
tom@mrjapanese.com

Tom became associated with professional recruiting in 1992 and has operated this office from the Nashville suburb of Murfreesboro since 1994. On a personal note, he has a strong connection with Asia that comes from having studied, lived and worked in the region for the past 15 years. He was one of the first pair of American students to ever study at Hirosaki University in Aomori, Japan and later completed degree programs at National Taiwan Normal University, University of Tennessee at Martin, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tokyo's International Christian University.

After graduate school, he founded a company to market North American products in Asia and consult with Japanese firms in the establishment of international operations. After six years of monthly trans-Pacific round trips, he gave up the life of the road warrior and opened this office.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys the legally recognized state pastime of Tennessee, namely UT football. Go Vols!
